Utopia: A Permacultural Vision - eBook now Available!!

I am very very excited to share with the world the first digital edition of the story "Utopia: A Permacultural Vision".

You can take a preview of the first chapter of the story here, or grab yourself an EPUB or PDF version of the story and dive in!

As I publish this story, close to 3,500,000,000 people around the world are in lockdown due to a viral pandemic. Inadequate health systems are being overrun, and there is massive uncertainty in the economy, droughts, fires, swarms of locust, you name it. Right now, it is reasonable and important, to question the wisdom of the status quo.  Utopia's, shed light on alternative ways of living and creating society.

Permaculture has been explained by the co-originator of the idea, Bill Mollison, as:

"The harmonious integration of the landscape with people providing their food, energy, shelter and other material and non-material needs in a sustainable way.”

Below is a brief introduction to the Utopia: A Permacultural Vision:

This story tries to convey the sights, smells, textures, sounds, logic, and sexuality, of a civilization built on permacultural principles and earthcare ethics.

Hope unexpectedly returns to Earth and discovers a civilization that works with nature rather than against it; co-operates rather than competes; integrates rather than segregates; creates rather than consumes; values diversity as opposed to uniformity; and looks at Earth as the source rather than a resource.

The main danger for this civilization is falling food. Falling food can impact you violently on the head or shoulders (apples, pears, walnuts, chestnuts), and also poses a grave slipping hazard when it lies thickly upon the ground (mulberries, dates, persimmons, cherries).

I hope you enjoy the story, and are inspired to work with nature. Please reach out if you have any questions or comments.
